Wilkommen! The Bavarian Schuhplattlers of Edmonton have been dancing in the Edmonton area since 1971. Our goal is to preserve and share the tradition of Bavarian & Austrian folk dance, costume, music, and Gemütlichkeit.

 

We perform at various cultural events in the area and especially at Oktoberfest celebrations. You can find us practicing on Thursday evenings at the German Canadian Cultural Centre. We currently have members as young as 9 and all the way to their 70s.
